UK Garage has remained a very popular choice for music at parties over the past few years so I thought it was about time I came up with a list of the top 10 most requested tracks!
In the early 2000s, UK Garage evolved from its underground roots into a mainstream phenomenon. Although it emerged originally in the early 90s blending house music with R&B, acts like So Solid Crew, Artful Dodger and Craig David helped push the genre into the charts.
A lot of 30-40-year-old couples getting married right now were teens in the early 2000s so Garage formed a major part of their musical history which is why you see so much of it being requested right now.
I’ll be honest, this was a really difficult genre to put into a top 10 because there are so many amazing garage tracks, but here are the most popular ones that people ask for…
I understand that if you are a UK Garage fan, this is probably the worst list of all time however, in my defence, this is a list of the most popular tracks people are asking for that fill dance floors at parties week in, week out so it is by no means an exhaustive list of UK Garage anthems, I’ve got so many more in my collection!
