The Top 100 most requested party songs of 2025!

Here are the top 100, most-played party anthems of 2025! Each song is a certified dance floor banger!

I honestly cannot believe that another year has passed, and here I am again, blogging about my top 100 most-played tracks of 2025.

It’s been a funny old year. Musical styles that you don’t usually get to play are now making a common appearance at parties. Songs from genres such as Drum & Bass and Country are often requested, both before the party and on the night. I’m not complaining, though; it’s great to play some different songs, and it makes the night a lot more interesting for me!

Before we get to the list, here are some stats!

Throughout 2025, I played just under 1,800 unique tracks from a library of around 60,000 songs. I DJ’d at 75 parties in total, and the song that occupies the position of being THE most-played track of 2024 was only played at 33 of those parties!

From 2024’s list, 27 tracks do not feature in 2025’s list but were still played occasionally.

The most requested song by clients of 2025 was The Killers – Mr. Brightside. Bizarrely, the most requested do not play song by clients was also The Killers and Mr. Brightside…work that one out!

Here’s the list, feel free to add it to your own Spotify account!

I think you’ll agree that most, if not all, of those songs are guaranteed to get people moving on the dance floor. It’s also good to see a few more modern tracks in there, and by that, I mean songs that have been released in the past five years. DJs are forever complaining that there’s nothing “decent” from the last few years that they can honestly say they would still be playing in 20 years’ time.

House of Pain’s Jump Around is thirty-three years old. Just let that sink in a little.

Did they think their song would be a regular party classic in the UK thirty-three years after it came out? Probably not!

The numbers have been reset once more for 2026; let’s see what the next 12 months bring, and will Dancing Queen ever not be the most played song of the year? Time will tell!

I hope you have a fantastic New Year, and don’t forget, if you would like any of those songs and a choice of thousands of others played at your party, fill in my short contact form, call, text or WhatsApp me on 07799 782764 or email me directly at hello@ianforest.com.
